  • What's the difference in your razors?

  • Why hasn't my order shipped yet?
    • Most of our products are made to order. Please visit our Order Progress page to see where your order is in the manufacturing process.
  • How long will my order take to ship?
    • As stated above, most of our products are made to order. We are NOT Amazon. Our company is made up of two people, so shipping times tend to be a little longer, but I promise it will be worth the wait!
    • Any of our "Build Your Own" series carry a typical lead time of 3-5 weeks. 
    • Our Model 921-M and Merica razors typically ship in 1-2 weeks
    • Winning Razors typically ship in 1-3 weeks
    • Any accessories typically ship in 1-2 weeks
    • Soaps typically ship within 1 week
    • All of these lead times are subject to change based on backlog.
  • I have an issue with my order, who should I contact?
    • Please send an email to support@yatesprecision.com and reference your order number, as well as the issue you are having.
  • Can I use a third party handle with your Model 921 Razor?
    • In order to use your own handle, the threads must be 10-32, and the diameter of the handle where the connection is made cannot be larger than .315" due to the recessed slot on our 921 baseplates.
  • What are the main differences between your Stonewash, Bead Blast, and As-Machined finishes?

    • Stonewash-most "grippy" finish, hides scratches and machine marks well, grey in appearance
    • Bead Blast-middle of the road in "grippy-ness", some machine marks may show through, light grey in appearance
    • As-Machined-least processed (most raw) finish. The only post-machining finishing process is a vibratory tumble for deburring, so these components will have machine and tumbling marks present.
